WebFeb 9, 2024 · A lot of people are drawn to AO3 because of the work they do to protect fanworks, the freedom the website allows with content, and the many useful features, such as being able to tag a work with helpful keyphrases. Tagging is probably one of the best tools that both fanfic readers and writers have at their disposal on AO3. WebAug 21, 2016 · Sometimes people just don’t leave kudos. Even if they liked your fic. Some people are stingy with their kudos. I don’t know why. But never let your kudos ratio or your hit count get in the way of your writing. As long as youre happy with it, or it makes you happy to create it, you’re doing great!
WebFeb 21, 2016 · AO3 tries to filter out multiple hits when they detect that they’re coming from the same person, which minimizes this problem somewhat. But I bet that some circumstances like a person reading a story from multiple devices or clearing their browser cache between visits (e.g.) will still cause multiple hits.
