WebFar Cry 3 is more open and immersive. It also has better characters and plot. Crysis is more linear but has more satisfying combat/gunplay where you will feel more powerful in than FC3. Difficult choice indeed considering your criteria. Personally, I had more fun with Crysis. WebC2 has a lengthier campaign but C3 has more refined gameplay like sprinting doesn't drain your suit energy anymore, suit upgrades are easier to come by and the visor can auto tag enemies for you. Granted, it made the game more tactical but it also made the gameplay less fun when almost need to stop running all the time so that you can use any of the suit modes properly.
