They wear them with wading boots, so I don't know how durable the things would be without some sort of protection, but they've had them for several seasons now and still going strong. WebThe Hippies are lightweight and breathable. It's almost like not wearing waders at all -- except your legs and feet stay dry. They work perfectly for me. The neoprene booties aren't overly thick, and fit well in the wading boots. The built in gravel guards are easy to use.
